Beautiful People #7 – Valentine’s Day Edition

I am not going to lie, I love Valentine’s Day. I am pretty sure that me and Valentine’s Day should just hook up with each other because we are going to be all alone. Plus, Valentine’s Day understands that I love my books. Some other people don’t and we don’t really speak of them in this household at all.

It is another installment of Beautiful People! Beautiful People is a monthly link-up hosted by Cait @ Paper Fury and Sky @ Further Up & Further In. They give you ten questions and you answer them! Plus, they are all about your character. Every single time I do this I get to know my characters a lot more better. You don’t have to write a book to join! You can be writing anything. It is fun, easy, and free to do. Let’s start with some questions, shall we?* I am going to be sharing Jake and Ember, even though they aren’t officially a couple. However, the love between them is for real.

How and why did they meet?

Well, Jake built Ember in Top Trinkets, his Father’s factory. However, the whole process of the meeting part was kind of, weird. Ember was kind of touching everything because she was really curious and she didn’t have any emotion because Jake didn’t install parts that made her feel human emotions. She also said that she wasn’t a real human because Jake told her that she was an android.

What were their first impressions of each other?

Jake, was in awe. He loved Ember from the moment he laid his icy blue eyes on her.

On the other hand, Ember was like, “Bro, who in the world are you? I’m not talking to you because I have no idea who you are.” To be honest it was a really awkward encounter for Ember.

How would they prove their love for each other?

Jake and Ember really love going on adventures with each other. Jake loves bringing Ember to places. Ember loves seeing the sights. If it was a proposal, which I am seeing in my mind and I am mentally crying because they all grow up SO FAST, they would probably go to the place where they met. Jake would have it all decorated pretty and he would try his best to get rid of the lingering oil smell. Ember would wear one of Jake’s Mother’s dress. Then, the whole proposal would happen.

I am so sorry guys. Excuse me if I cry all of a sudden. *cries*

What would be an ideal date?

Oh man. Is it bad that I feel like a matchmaker? To be honest, it feels great!

They would probably spend the day in a vinyl records shop because they love talking to the girl up at the counter or they would go out for ice cream. They would either hop on one of those red double-decker buses and just ride around until they get tired.

I really want a relationship like this!

Is there something they emphatically disagree on?

Ember often thinks that she isn’t human. However, Jake makes her feel like she is human. They often disagree on stupid things, but then they realize that at least one of them is right.

List 5 “food quirks” they know about each other. (Ex: how they take their coffee, if they’re allergic to something, etc….and feel free to mention other non-food quirks!)

01: Ember licks her ice cream. Jake takes big bites.

02: Ember often walks around, doing nothing. She is actually sort of weird.

03. Jake loves waffles. He eats them cold, while his Father eats them hot. Sometimes he eats them hot, but he mostly likes them cold.

Okay, I seriously have no idea what my characters’ food quirks are.

What’s one thing they know about each other that no one else does?

Nobody knows that Ember is actually an android. Only Jake knows. Nobody knows that Jake is also a Fifth Harmony, ninja kid who loves nanchos.

Scratch that. Jake is not a Fifth Harmony, ninja kid who loves nanchos.

What’s one thing that they keep a secret from each other?

They don’t rally keep secrets from each other. They usually tell each other everything because they are that sort of couple. You know, the really cute and fluffy couple that everybody wishes that they could be.

How would their lives be different without each other?

Ember’s life would be different because she would just be an idea on a piece of paper on Jake’s messy desk. He could have thrown the idea away and she would have never been built. Jake possibly would have been really depressed because he is an antisocial kid who doesn’t make friends half of the time. He probably would have stayed in the factory all day long inventing things.

Where do they each see this relationship going?

Oh dear. *insert spoilers here that I can not say because I have too many feels, so sorry people who really wanted to know.*
