Hey everybody! I think that I have hit a blogging slump because I have no idea what to blog about whatsoever, but don’t worry! I have posts that I haven’t published yet in my drafts and they are begging to be published. Plus, expect a lot of reviews and maybe a book themed playlist for my new WIP.

My Synopsis

Cosmo Chang has always seen himself as a magician. He didn’t care if he had embarrassed himself in front of his fifth grade class. He didn’t care if there was rabbit poop in his Grandfather’s magical hat. However, when you grow up it seems like the magic drains out of you.

Cosmo stopped believing in his Grandfather’s magic stories. There was no way that he could pull a rabbit out of his hat or a quarter from behind his ears. They were fake, mind tricks to be exact. Then, Grandfather dies. His last words were, “Do the magic for me.”

As Cosmo works at the town’s fun fair over the summer, he learns that magic can be anywhere in any form. Maybe magic is the girl that smack talked him when they were both on the ferris wheel together, getting stuck together. Maybe magic is the form of good things happening. Or maybe magic is in the form of bad things happening like breaking your leg by falling off of the dock and landing on a rock.

Wherever magic is hidden in, Cosmo is starting to wonder if it is real or not. Maybe his Grandfather was right? Was he right all along?

The Real Deal

Amber Sand is not a witch. The Sand family Wicca gene somehow leapfrogged over her. But she did get one highly specific magical talent: she can see true love. The Best Kind of Magic is set in urban Chicago and will appeal to readers who long for magic in the real world. With a sharp-witted and sassy heroine, a quirky cast of mystical beings, and a heady dose of adventure, this novel will have you laughing out loud and questioning your belief in happy endings.

Verdict

Okay, I am just going to say that both of these synopsis’s sounds super good. I really got the whole aspect of the magic right, and who wouldn’t by looking at the cover, and the whole magician part.

I really love how the real synopsis is set in Chicago, I love Chicago, and I think that the whole book sounds really romantic, really cute, and really interesting. I honestly can’t wait to read this when it comes out.
